 Requisition Summary

The Kenworth Sales Promotions Manager is responsible for developing and managing Kenworth sales promotions while delivering timely reporting and analytics to Kenworth management in support of sales objectives. Responsibilities include providing profitability reporting, generating ad hoc analytics and reports to support the Kenworth Sales team, and serving as backup to the Sales Planning Manager.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales programs and promotions that align with organizational initiatives
  • Perform regular  margin analysis to forecast Kenworth's profitability
  • Streamline reporting and reporting processes
  • Create and maintain sales codes for vendor commitments and promotions
  • Maintain sales promotion bulletins and general sales announcements on a SharePoint site
  • Respond to Sr. Management requests for ad hoc information and analysis utilizing available data resources
  • Contribute to department goal of continuously improving processes
  • Communicate directly with Kenworth dealers, field sales team and other PACCAR divisions
  • Serve as a backup to the Sales Planning Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required in related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years applicable experience required.
  • Proficiency in writing and managing SQL queries within MS Access, SQL Server, and Tableau.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets, ensure reporting accuracy, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and work effectively with a wide variety of people and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather facts and resolve problems in a positive and efficient manner.
  • Must be able to accept responsibility for assigned projects and work effectively under general or minimal supervision
