Are you passionate about sports entertainment and engaging with crowds? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being in the spotlight? If so, the Alton River Dragons have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an In Game Promotions Intern for the 2027 season.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute all in-game promotions and entertainment activities during Alton River Dragons' home games.
  • Coordinate with game day staff and promotional team to ensure smooth execution of activities.
  • Engage with fans and create an energetic atmosphere throughout the game.
  • Utilize a microphone to make announcements, conduct interviews, and interact with the crowd during breaks between innings.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of promotional equipment and materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing and promotions team to brainstorm new ideas for in-game entertainment.
  • Maintain a professional and enthusiastic demeanor while representing the Alton River Dragons organization.

Requirements:
  • Must be comfortable speaking and performing in front of large crowds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends during the Alton River Dragons' home game schedule.
  • Previous experience in event management, promotions, or public speaking is a plus but not required.
