What is expected of You:
  • Serve as the energetic voice of American Place Casino by confidently hosting promotions, giveaways, tournaments, and special events using a microphone in front of large audiences.
  • Create an exciting, high-energy atmosphere that keeps guests engaged, entertained, and excited to participate in casino promotions and events.
  • Build genuine connections with guests by being approachable, personable, and delivering exceptional hospitality with every interaction.
  • Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and positive energy while representing the American Place Casino brand at all promotional events.
  • Coordinate, execute, and evaluate promotional events while ensuring every event delivers an unforgettable guest experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and property departments to ensure promotions run smoothly from planning through execution.
  • Serve as the primary on-property contact for events, communicating confidently with vendors, entertainers, team members, and guests.
  • Assist guests with promotional questions, prize distribution, and event participation while maintaining an upbeat and welcoming presence.
  • Ensure promotional materials, signage, and event spaces are prepared and presentation-ready before each event.
  • Maintain compliance with all gaming regulations, internal controls, and promotional procedures.
  • Perform additional administrative, budgeting, and event support duties as assigned.

Experience You will need:
  • A naturally outgoing, engaging personality with the confidence to speak in front of groups and captivate an audience.
  • Previous experience emceeing events, public speaking, hosting, entertainment, radio, promotions, or guest engagement is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to live event situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Comfortable working in a lively, fast-paced entertainment environment.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Bilingual; Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as needed for event setup or marketing materials.
  • Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and copiers.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, casino environment with varying levels of lighting and temperature.
  • Occasional travel within the region may be required for offsite promotions or training.
