Job description

In this fast-paced, high energy environment where great guest service is essential, how do we keep developing new and exciting events to provide our guests with a great entertainment experience? As a Promotions Coordinator on our Promotions team, you will assist with planning, organizing and implementing property promotional events. While carrying out the job duties listed below, you will contribute to our continued success by demonstrating unsurpassed guest service, a high level of integrity and ethical standards, and personal and professional dedication to our mission, vision, and values.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
  1. *Work at the direction of department management to successfully administer all promotional events from the creation of the idea through the completion of the promotion including but not limited to conception, reviewing legal contracts, drafting of promotional official rules, budgeting, purchasing, ensuring adequate internal and external communication and proper execution of the promotional event.
  2. *Draft and submit promotion official rules for approval and maintain knowledge of all rules and procedures for promotional events.
  3. *Work with department management to setup promotional events in promotional systems, verify and test to ensure complete accuracy.
  4. *Host promotional events including but not limited to operating promotional systems, speaking on a microphone to large audiences, and responding to questions and concerns from guests.
  5. *Coordinate event details with department management to ensure the successful delivery of promotional events.
  6. *Work on and off-site to administer promotional events.
  7. *Order and maintain inventory of promotional items.
  8. *Communicate current and future promotions internally to ensure proper information is provided to guests.
  9. *Evaluate data provided by Promotions Manager to analyze effectiveness of promotions and events.
  10. Work with Purchasing department and vendors to provide needed services for promotions.
  11. Support other departments with promotions as needed.
  12. Assist with set up and take down of equipment at events.
  13. Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  1. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in promotions, event marketing, community relations, and/or guest service are required. An Associate's degree in a related field can take the place of 6 months of experience. Gaming industry experience is preferred.
  2. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with promotional software systems preferred.
  3. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  4. The ability to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner.
  5. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member will be required to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
