Job description


Start Rate: $17.25/hour | Full-Time | Shift TBD
Job Purpose or Objective(s):
The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of all promotional activities, including on- and off-property events, entertainment, and concerts. This role also provides administrative and operational support to the Marketing management team. You will report directly to the Promotions Manager.
Primary Tasks:
  • Execute all promotional activities including drawings, giveaways, tournaments, and both gaming and non-gaming events. Prepare all related documentation such as prize slips, promotional logs, winner release forms, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Organize promotional materials and items for giveaways, including decorations for events and promotions.
  • Set up and break down promotional stages as scheduled. Ensure the promotional stage, booth, terminals, and inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and properly equipped.
  • Provide administrative support for special events and marketing initiatives, including reception duties, filing, reporting, tracking, and trafficking.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of on- and off-property events.
  • Update mobile digital content on the gaming floor.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing internal communications to inform other departments of upcoming events and their required contributions.
  • Engage with guests on the gaming floor to promote carded play, encourage new member sign-ups, and communicate promotional details. Meet assigned weekly and monthly goals.
  • Collaborate with various departments-including EVS, Conference & Group Sales, Maintenance, IT, Food & Beverage, the District, Slot Department, and Table Games Department-to ensure successful event execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups and capable of emceeing promotions and events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar.
  • Proven customer relationship skills to support promotional and event development.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service across departments.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in entertainment, promotions, or marketing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
  1. You will implement all of drawings/giveaway, tournaments, all kinds of non-gaming & gaming promotions/events, and prepare all of relative paperwork such as prize slips, promotional logs, winner release forms and any others needed.
  2. Arrange all promotional materials/items needed for gift giveaway, decoration for all promotions and events.
  3. Setup and clear off the promotional stage as scheduled. Maintain the promotional stage/booth/working terminals/inventory storage clean, neat and sufficiently equipped.
  4. Provide support for reception, filing, reporting, tracking and trafficking for special events and marketing.
  5. You will coordinate in execution of on/off property events.
  6. Update the mobile digital content on gaming floor.
  7. Help prepare paperwork distributed to inform other departments of upcoming events and promotions and the things needed from their department.
  8. Greet/promote carded play or new member sign-up/communicate about promotion to guests on the gaming floor. Achieve the weekly/monthly goals as assigned.
  9. You will collaborate with other departments involved with the execution of the events including EVS, Conference & Group Sales, Maintenance, IT, Food & Beverage, the District, Slot Department, and Table Games Department to ensure the success of events.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
