Grainda BuildersConstruction Project Coordinator / Admin

Help Build Exceptional Homes and Create an Outstanding Client Experience

At Grainda Builders, we don't just build homes -- we create spaces where families will make memories for generations. We are looking for a Project Coordinator who loves organization, communication, and bringing people together to help deliver exceptional custom home projects. In this role, you will be the point of contact between homeowners, designers, architects, vendors, and our construction team, helping to ensure every detail moves forward smoothly from planning through completion.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys getting involved in the details, solving problems, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact on truly special projects.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working with budgets and timelines, and takes pride in providing a high level of service to clients.

What You'll Do

As our Project Coordinator, you will help keep custom home projects organized, on track, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Client & Project Coordination
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for homeowners throughout the construction process
  • Coordinate communication between homeowners, designers, architects, construction managers, and trade partners
  • Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, track decisions, and ensure clear follow-up
  • Help anticipate challenges and keep projects moving forward
Budget & Cost Tracking
  • Maintain and track project budgets, committed costs, and actual expenses
  • Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate budget updates clearly and help identify potential issues early
Selections & Scheduling
  • Track homeowner selections including finishes, fixtures, and materials
  • Coordinate deadlines with designers and construction teams
  • Follow up on outstanding decisions to prevent project delays
Change Orders & Purchasing
  • Prepare and process accurate change orders
  • Communicate cost and schedule impacts clearly to clients and team members
  • Create and manage purchase orders with vendors and trade partners
  • Track orders and resolve issues quickly
Construction Support
  • Perform plan takeoffs using Bluebeam when needed
  • Help maintain organized project documentation
  • Support the team in delivering a smooth, high-quality building experience

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well, and enjoys making things happen.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in residential construction, custom home building, design, or project coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple details at once
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
  • Strong attention to detail with budgets, numbers, and documentation
  • Experience with construction management software, accounting systems, or project tracking tools
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and financial information
  • A proactive mindset -- someone who follows up, finds answers, and solves problems

The Type of Person Who Thrives at Grainda Builders

We believe great results come from great habits. Successful team members:

  • Ask questions and seek solutions instead of placing blame
  • Adapt quickly when priorities change
  • Take ownership and follow through on commitments
  • Think ahead and anticipate what needs to happen next
  • Pay attention to details because every detail matters
  • Communicate clearly and set expectations
  • Protect the client experience at every step
  • Do the right thing, even when it's difficult
  • Continuously learn and improve

Why Join Grainda Builders?

At Grainda Builders, you will be part of a team that takes pride in craftsmanship, relationships, and creating something meaningful.

This role gives you the opportunity to:

  • Be involved in unique custom home projects
  • Work closely with homeowners and talented construction professionals
  • Make a direct impact on project success
  • Grow your skills in a supportive, high-standard environment
  • Help create homes that become part of a family's legacy

If you are someone who loves organization, enjoys solving problems, and wants to help build exceptional homes while creating an amazing client experience, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today and become part of the Grainda Builders team!
