Job description

TITLE: Project Controls Coordinator
LOCATION: Bellevue, WA, USA, onsite, 3-5 days, only locals

Project Controls Coordinator - Agency Contract
Client is seeking to contract with a highly motivated and skilled Project Controls Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for providing support to the Project Controls team on fielding deliverables related to the planning, costing, scheduling, documentation, coordination, and implementation of project activities. This position will report to the PMO Manager and will work closely with project management, project controls, and the centralized engineering organization, as well as other internal organizations.
  • Coordinate with project managers and project controls to follow up on project actions.
  • Coordinate the project activities by working with all stakeholders including centralized engineering to enable project execution.
  • Support preparation and presentation of monthly project progress performance reporting for the project controls team.
  • Assist, gather, and analyze schedule update information from project management and the centralized engineering organization, as well as partner organizations.
  • Support preparation and resolution of project change requests.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Schedule Natrium project specific and project controls related meetings, maintain action item logs, assist with the development of project controls procedures, templates, and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in project planning, coordination, or management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build positive working relationships.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skill.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks despite a high volume of interruptions.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA a bonus.
  • Experience with or knowledge of nuclear power a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
  • Actual position starting level and title will be determined based on assessment of qualifications.
