MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experiencedย Contract Project Administrator located inย Chicago, ILย Our client is an electricity and natural gas industry Leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Project Administrator to support project management and project controls teams with contract administration, document tracking, and project coordination activities. This role will assist with maintaining contract records, tracking deliverables, logging receivables, and ensuring project documentation is accurate and up to date.

The ideal candidate will have 2โ€“3 years of administrative, contract support, procurement coordination, or project support experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Support contract administration activities including document tracking, contract updates, and record maintenance

Track project deliverables, receivables, purchase orders, and contract-related documentation

Maintain organized electronic files, logs, spreadsheets, and project records

Assist project managers and project controls teams with administrative and coordination tasks

Monitor contract milestones and help ensure required documentation is completed and properly logged

Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding contract status, deliverables, and documentation requirements

Assist with invoice tracking, data entry, and reporting activities

Support change order and document control processes

Prepare reports, trackers, and status updates using Excel and internal systems

Ensure compliance with internal procedures and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred (Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field)

2โ€“3 years of experience in:

Contract administration support

Project coordination

Administrative support

Procurement support

Project controls support

Experience maintaining spreadsheets, logs, and project documentation

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting project managers or project controls teams

Familiarity with purchase orders, invoicing, receivables, or vendor documentation

Experience using ERP or contract management systems
