Position Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to support maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination activities at our Coldwater manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for developing and managing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules, coordinating maintenance work orders, supporting contractor management, and helping drive equipment reliability and operational uptime. The Maintenance Planner will partner closely with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and outside contractors to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to operations.
This is an opportunity for a highly organized and technically knowledgeable maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing planning, coordination, and hands-on problem-solving.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Manage preventative and predictive maintenance schedules through MaintainX
• Coordinate maintenance work orders, contractor services, and project activities
• Track maintenance KPIs, OEE reporting, and department documentation
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts
• Maintain CMMS data accuracy, parts coordination, and maintenance records
• Partner with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime
• Promote compliance with industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices

• Improved equipment uptime and maintenance response efficiency
• Well-organized and accurate preventative maintenance schedules
• Timely completion of maintenance work orders and projects

Ideal Candidate Profile
• 5-7 years of experience in industrial maintenance environments
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required
• Experience with CMMS and ERP/MRP systems preferred
• Strong understanding of industrial maintenance and safety standards
• Ability to read blueprints and P&ID drawings
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills
• Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills
