Hotel General Manager

AC Hotel by Marriott – Bridgewater, NJ

Salary Range:$110,000-$130,000 annually

We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Hotel General Manager to lead the #1 rated, Chairman Award winning AC Hotel by Marriott in Bridgewater, NJ. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

  • Create a vibrant, engaging atmosphere by leading with enthusiasm, professionalism, and authenticity.
  • Foster a culture of engagement at every level while attracting, developing, and retaining top hospitality talent.
  • Lead by example—setting high standards in appearance, behavior, and service excellence.
  • Maintain high visibility during peak operational hours, including evenings and weekends

Guest Experience & Operations

  • Prepare and execute annual operating budgets, sales, and marketing plans to achieve targeted results.
  • Analyze financial performance to drive revenue growth, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Leverage technology platforms and distribution channels to maximize market share.
  • Lead capital planning and asset management initiatives in partnership with senior leadership.

People & Talent Development

  • Develop and implement programs that enhance team member engagement and performance.
  • Establish succession planning to build a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Set clear performance and development goals; provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
  • Oversee staffing, compensation, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.

Responsible Business & Community Engagement

  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, associates, and hotel assets.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and public relations representative within the local community.
  • Encourage and support team involvement in community organizations and initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Required:  Previous Hotel General Manager experience, or 3+ years as an Assistant General Manager at a Marriott or Hilton branded property.
  • Preferred:  Prior brand experience.
  • Plus:  Previous experience in the local or similar market.
