Job description

The Center for Human Development, CHD is seeking a team-oriented individual for our community based mental health program (ACCS) for the role of Assistant Program Manager.  The multidisciplinary outreach team provides services to persons served in need of psychiatric services living independently in the community. This is an exciting opportunity for clinicians seeking to move into a supervisory role within the mental health field.   

Your role as an Assistant Program Manager:

The Assistant Program Manager supervises direct care staff, program supervisors and the housing coordinator.  Personality traits should include high energy level; self-initiated, task-oriented, detail-oriented and accurate; organized, efficient, flexible, dependable open, direct interpersonal style; works well as a team member.  

 Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with psychiatric population; Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience  
  • Master’s degree in a mental health field from an accredited educational institution   
  • Must be a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) or licensed eligible, including LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LADC1, Licensed Rehab Counselor

Schedule of Work: This is a full-time, on-site role.
