Job description

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is seeking motivated undergraduate students to join our team as Student Program Assistants. In this part-time position, you will work collaboratively with CTL staff to support the delivery of signature events such as the Green + Gold Teaching Showcase, provide a meaningful student lens on new initiatives, and engage in outreach activities. This is an ideal opportunity for a student eager to develop professional skills while contributing to a strong educational environment.

Hours of Work: Some hours may be fixed to support scheduled events and programming. Remaining hours will be discussed with the successful candidate, and, where possible, arranged around their course schedule. Additional hours may be available during high-volume periods, such as major events.

The successful candidate would be expected to be available on the following dates:

  • October 26, 27 and 28 (hours to be determined)
  • April 26 -29
  • May 11-13 (mornings)

The Provost and Vice-President - Academic is the University of Alberta's chief academic officer and a key leader in advancing the university's educational mission.
