  • Request vendor lead times, compare them against customer and production schedules, and recommend expedited options when needed. Evaluate cost impacts before approving or communicating schedule changes.
  • Communicate program requests, schedule updates, status reports, and potential roadblocks to production managers, manufacturing leaders, internal team members, and customers as needed.
  • Work with the estimating team on requests for quote and manage engineering change requests to ensure pricing, scope, schedule, and customer requirements are understood and documented.
  • Manage customer purchase orders, purchase order changes, and approvals. Ensure changes are documented, authorized, communicated, and processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare Open Order Reports (OOR), Work in Process (WIP) Trackers, and Line of Balance (LOB) projects as requested by customers and programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer and product support, proactively addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Act as a liaison and attend required meetings/conference calls (video or phone) with customers, fostering clear communication and managing expectations.
  • Maintain program status and schedule updates, informing production leadership and the customer of progress and potential roadblocks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, account management, customer service, or a closely related role within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience using customer portals, workspaces, or program systems such as MoveIT, cFolders, ESIS, or similar customer platforms.
  • Strong understanding of purchase order processing and change order management.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned customer accounts, build effective processes, and help shape the role as the company continues to grow.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, communicate proactively, and respond with appropriate urgency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning project management, ERP, and customer portal systems.
  • US Citizenship is a requirement.
  • Must be fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations, machining or fabrication processes, and basic aerospace engineering concepts.
