Job description

Production Engineer
The Production Engineer will support production, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product quality, manufacturability, and performance. This role works closely with engineering, operations, and testing teams and plays a key part in supporting day-to-day manufacturing needs while helping implement design improvements.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on employee wellbeing, collaboration, and sustainable growth
  • Provide daily engineering support to production, including answering technical questions, troubleshooting in the test area, and approving work-in-process changes
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities related to design, manufacturability, cost reduction, and product performance
  • Manage and execute design-related projects that support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain bills of material (BOMs) for custom and modified units
  • Validate new or revised designs through testing and data analysis
  • Review, update, and improve build practices, standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Use SolidWorks to create and revise CAD models for design and improvement projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of thermodynamics
  • Basic understanding of control loops
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Familiarity with PID loops and basic control logic preferred
Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000
