Junior Production Supervisor
We have opportunities for Junior Production Supervisors at our Hazel Park, MI facility.
Job Summary:
A Junior Production Supervisor is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment to perform a variety of highly diverse duties such as training new Team Members; Perform process verification; Update engineering change process documents and others lines documents; Support Shift Manager and Operations Manager and work on special projects when it is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Training new Team Members and follow up with the new Team Members daily for the first 90 days.
  • Perform process verification and station audits at VAA and Tire amp; Wheel.
  • Work with engineering and other departments on engineering changes.
  • Update documents for SWS; PV; Error Proofing Work Instructions; Autonomous Maintenance.
  • Support Shift Manager and Operations Manager on the following tasks:
    • Verify that team lead boards are up to date;
    • Verify if Team Members are following all the process;
    • Work on the line if the shift is short of Team Members;
    • Assist with training (beyond the training area).
  • Work on special projects which consist of the following, but not limited to:
    • Assist to 5S the lines when changes are made;
    • Assist in painting new lines on the floor;
    • Taking time studies for changes/projects;
    • Assist another department with a project.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or currently enrolled in a degree program
  • Experience: Experience working in a production environment is a plus
