Job description

Your Contribution

Our Production Engineer is responsible for the development of assigned products and facilitation of product launches within the plant. This position interfaces with customers, suppliers, and leads our multi-disciplinary launch team with respect to all aspects of the product, process and program management. You will manage and lead one or more cross functional project teams simultaneously, developing project plans, facilitating proposals and working within tight timetables and managing the PDP process at the plant level according to the Production Engineering RASIC. 

Your Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university. 
  • Experience in plastics and assembly design preferred. 
  • Prior experience in new product introductions in an automotive/automotive supplier environment. 
  • Prior project management experience; PMP certification a plus. 
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience.
