Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
Walmart Connect is seeking a Staff, Product Analytics to drive product analytics for Walmart Connect advertising experiences. This role will lead measurement, experimentation, and insights to enable data-driven product decisions that improve advertiser outcomes, customer experience, and business growth. As a senior individual contributor, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and business teams to influence product strategy through analytics, experimentation, and deep business insights. The ideal candidate has strong product analytics expertise, experience in advertising or marketplaces, and the ability to navigate tradeoffs across monetization, advertiser value, and customer experience.
About the team:
 We drive measurement, experimentation, and insights across Data Ventures & Advertising, partnering cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities, improve product outcomes, and scale data-informed decision-making across the advertising platform.
What you'll do:
Define product measurement strategy, including north-star metrics, guardrails, dashboards, and reporting. Drive product growth by identifying opportunities through data, customer insights, and experimentation. Lead rigorous A/B testing, causal analysis, and measurement to inform product decisions. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to influence roadmap and optimize customer experience, advertiser outcomes, and monetization. Improve analytics foundations through better instrumentation, data quality, and metric governance. Collaborate cross-functionally to translate insights into product and business impact. Communicate clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders and influence strategic decisions.
What you'll bring:
6-10+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field. Strong experience in digital advertising, ad tech, retail media, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses. Deep expertise in product analytics, experimentation, causal inference, metric design, and statistical analysis. Proven ability to translate data into product strategy and business impact. Advanced SQL and strong analytical skills with hands-on experience analyzing large datasets. Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to influence roadmaps and decisions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
