Job Description Summary

The Director, Product Marketing will lead significant areas of responsibility across the Keenova Mens Health business. This individual will focus on driving business growth for products, exploring innovative solutions to business challenges and building a strong business strategy for a complex disease state and treatment.
The Director, Product Marketing will develop and lead key strategic priorities and the corresponding tactical plans to achieve the product's financial objectives. Areas of focus will be on driving the development of field sales personal promotion tools as well as leading non-personal professional, patient and caregiver promotional efforts. This role will also be the product champion with the field sales team as they work with field sales training and sales leadership to execute field sales tactics. The Director, Product Marketing will also be responsible for ensuring the tactical plan is aligned to the brand Advertising & Promotion Budget. In addition, will be responsible for collaborating with the Insights and Analytics team to analyze data to monitor brand performance, analyze market trends, and recommend actions as appropriate.
The Director, Product Marketing will effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to achieve effective and compliant support and implementation of strategic plan as well as establishing strong relationship with external customers and partners.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the brand/cross functional team, in the execution of the tactical plan to achieve financial objectives, including planning and arranging training, market research, and sales training.
  • Lead the development and execution of the portfolio strategy. Components include but are not limited to the following: situation analysis, critical success factors, key issues, strategies, and financial objectives.
  • Key liaison with PR and consumer leadership to develop and execute strategy and campaigns with a keen lens on optimization and performance.
  • Act as product champion and expert on all aspects of each product and lead the development of the holistic plan including the life cycle management strategy to extend the business potential of the product and portfolio.
  • Direct the research and analysis of market, brand, competition, pipeline, pricing, promotions, reimbursements, disease, regulatory requirements, customers, and market access to understand business environment and build on opportunities.
  • Define the scope of market research, define deliverables, and challenge analyses.
  • Owner and leader in the development of financial objectives, product forecast, 5-year forecast, and budget.
  • Balance resource allocation and marketing mix elements to operationalize marketing strategy.
  • Manage overall ad agency performance and performance review process. Sign off on agency estimates of proposal.
  • Develop advocacy strategy and resulting tactics, balancing budgetary constraints and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with sales leadership to plan for the execution of product tactics and integration of the strategy for sales meetings.
  • Partner with digital and omnichannel partners to enhance the customer journey to create a more effective communication platform

Education & Experience

  • BA in Business/Marketing related discipline, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience developing strategies, implementing tactical plans, managing budgets, with increasing levels of exposure and leadership
  • Understanding of the urologic business is preferred
  • Record of successfully working with commercial, market access, clinical, sales, operations and supply chain functions.
  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
  • Experience with Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill preferred
  • Track record of successfully achieving business goals and a record of successfully working with cross-functional team members.

Knowledge

  • Excellent understanding of marketing business processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with field-based sales force and market access issues and trends, assessing product portfolio and commercial opportunities, and developing and implementing business plans.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong strategic mind.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Skilled in presenting and tailoring presentations to audiences, and engaging audiences.
  • Innovative and creative marketing skills with a strong lens on innovation.
  • Highly energetic team player with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to develop business plans, create, and manage budgets.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high priorities, identify resource needs, drive to completion, prepare reports, and evaluate results.

25-30% travel may be required.

The expected base pay range for this position is $182K - $202K. Please note that base pay offeredmay vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion.
