RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Product Manager in Minneapolis, MN.
Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Product Manager to support our Senior Product Manager in driving the development, execution, and continuous improvement of digital products and customer experiences. This role is ideal for a product professional with approximately 2-4 years of experience who is looking to further develop their product management career while partnering closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX designers, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Delivery & Execution:
* Support the Senior Product Manager in executing the product roadmap and strategic initiatives
* Assist in translating business objectives into detailed product requirements and user stories
* Manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring priorities are clearly documented and understood
* Partner with engineering teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product delivery activities
* Track feature development progress and escalate risks or dependencies as needed
Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand user needs
* Facilitate communication between product, engineering, design, operations, and business teams
* Help coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful product launches and enhancements
* Analyze user feedback, customer requests, and product performance metrics
* Assist with defining product requirements based on user needs and business goals
* Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation efforts
Product Operations & Governance:
* Maintain product documentation, requirements, workflows, and release notes
* Monitor KPIs and product adoption metrics to measure success and identify optimization opportunities
* Support product launch planning and change management activities
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
* 2-4 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Project Coordination, or a related role
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar product management tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
* Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
* Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
