Description:

Help Shape the Future of Modern Mobility

Travelpro® is evolving — from a trusted legacy luggage brand into a modern, design-led mobility company built for people constantly in motion.

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the lifecycle of our product portfolio—from concept through launch and ongoing optimization—while helping bring innovative, consumer-focused travel products to market. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, design, marketing, and commercial execution, translating consumer insights, market trends, and business objectives into products that resonate with modern travelers.

You will partner closely with Design, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Legal, and external partners to develop compelling product stories, execute successful launches, and continuously optimize our portfolio. If you're passionate about consumer products, inspired by design and innovation, and enjoy collaborating across teams to bring ideas to life, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of Travelpro.

What You'll Do

Lead Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the lifecycle of core product lines from concept through launch, optimization, and closeout.
  • Partner closely with Design throughout product development to ensure products align with consumer needs, business goals, and brand strategy.
  • Support product roadmap planning and portfolio evolution initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance after launch and develop insights that inform future product decisions.

Drive Product Launch & Go-to-Market Execution

  • Lead cross-functional execution of product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Develop launch assets including product announcements, sales tools, training presentations, feature-and-benefit matrices, hang tags, and marketing collateral.
  • Support sales enablement and growth marketing through compelling product content and launch communications.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Design, Legal, and Operations to ensure seamless product introductions.

Champion Consumer Insights & Innovation

  • Incorporate consumer research, competitive analysis, market trends, and lifestyle insights into product strategy and positioning.
  • Monitor emerging travel, fashion, and consumer trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Translate market insights into actionable product recommendations and portfolio opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice of the consumer throughout the product development process.

Collaborate with Design & Creative Teams

  • Partner with Designers to shape product stories, aesthetics, color palettes, materials, trims, finishes, and consumer-facing details.
  • Provide thoughtful feedback on concepts and prototypes while balancing consumer appeal, manufacturing feasibility, commercial objectives, and brand positioning.
  • Participate in trend research, inspiration gathering, and concept development.
  • Help ensure product design aligns with Travelpro's evolving design-led brand strategy.

Support Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives

  • Manage product naming and trademark coordination in partnership with Legal.
  • Support trade shows, consumer research initiatives, product presentations, and strategic business projects.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance product development and launch effectiveness.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that drive organizational growth and operational excellence.

What Makes You Successful

You are:

  • Consumer-obsessed with a passion for creating products that solve real customer needs.
  • Equally analytical and creative, balancing data-driven decision making with design appreciation.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative communicator who builds strong partnerships across creative, commercial, and operational teams.
  • Curious about emerging consumer, travel, fashion, and lifestyle trends.
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and motivated by continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or product marketing.
  • Experience within consumer products, retail, direct-to-consumer (DTC), or related industries.
  • Proven success managing product launches and cross-functional initiatives from concept to market.
  • Experience collaborating across design, marketing, sales, operations, and technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting and market analysis to guide business decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Understanding of product development, product marketing, and launch processes.
  • Experience developing presentations, training materials, and marketing content.
  • Knowledge of consumer product development and competitive market analysis preferred.
  • Interest in travel products, consumer goods, and lifestyle brands is a plus.

Why This Role Matters

This role plays a critical part in driving Travelpro's continued transformation into a more consumer-centric, design-led organization. Your work will directly impact:

  • Product innovation and portfolio growth.
  • Successful product launches and go-to-market execution.
  • Consumer engagement through meaningful product storytelling.
  • Cross-functional collaboration across product creation, marketing, and commercialization.
  • Revenue growth, brand equity, and long-term product portfolio performance.

This is an opportunity to influence the products travelers rely on every day while helping shape the next generation of Travelpro's innovation, design, and market leadership.

Working Environment

  • Hybrid office environment with hands-on interaction with physical products.
  • Occasional travel for vendor development, market research, trade shows, consumer research, and inspiration.
  • Fast-paced, collaborative environment managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
