As an Associate Product Manager, you will support the product team in developing and executing product strategies that align with user needs and market demands. This role is ideal for individuals in the early stages of their product management career, eager to build foundational skills and make a meaningful impact.

Job Description

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to ensure visibility into product initiatives, supporting the development of pricing strategies, and assisting in partnership management. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about learning and contributing to the product's success.

Your Responsibilities
  • Product Roadmap Planning: Participate in the planning and prioritization of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Customer Interaction: Actively participate in customer calls, asking questions and gathering insights to inform product decisions.
  • Product Development Support: Take initiative to build foundational product management skills, supporting the team in executing product strategies.
  • Pricing Strategy: Assist in developing pricing strategies by gathering and analyzing relevant data to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Ensure that stakeholders have visibility into product initiatives, gathering input, and aligning expectations.
  • Feature Scoping and Delivery: Scope and manage new product features and enhancements from concept through delivery, ensuring they meet user needs and market demands.
  • Needs Assessment and Workflow Understanding: Collaborate with customers and service teams to assess needs, understand end-user workflows, define projects, and conduct in-progress demonstrations.
  • Requirements Translation: Translate and conceptualize user and market needs into product requirements and scope user stories for development, including acceptance criteria and UI/UX expectations.
  • Issue and Risk Management: Manage day-to-day issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and timely deliverables.
  • Feature Testing and Refinement: Iteratively test and refine new features to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and provide an optimal user experience.
  • Request Prioritization: Review, evaluate, and prioritize requests from staff and end-users to ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Customer Expectation Management: Manage customer expectations with professionalism and diplomacy, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with product objectives.
  • Escalation Troubleshooting: Leverage product knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve escalated situations effectively.
  • Internal Communication: Work across internal teams, including Training, Sales, and Service, to communicate and educate on new features and enhancements being released.
Requirements for Consideration
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in a related field such as product management, marketing, or business analysis.
  • Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills, eagerness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Economics, or related), or equivalent job experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Atlassian) is a plus.
