Overview

As an Associate Director, Product Strategy, you will help our clients define and deliver their product roadmap in an agile and data-driven environment relentlessly focused on driving superior business outcome for our customers. 

As part of your responsibilities, you will lead a collaborative, cross-functional and high-performance team working with CX/UX designers, developers and senior management to guide products through to fruition and help teams build and enhance successful products that deliver a differentiated customer experience, meet the demands of the market and drive business results.   

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for driving transformation from outputs (projects) to outcomes (products) and shifting our ways of working to a product mindset (speed / quality / value)
  • Develop strong and deep understanding of the client organization's goals and priorities, competitive market positioning and market differentiation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify new product ideas/concepts based on industry and market trend analysis
  • Responsible for Product Ownership including problem framing, opportunities shaping, backlog management, development stages, and pilot & rollout planning
  • Implement learnings to optimize product and operations to promote data-driven decisions throughout product lifecycle
  • Analyze customer feedback and data to identify important issues that need to be addressed
  • Foster product thinking, mindset and rigor through harnessing data-driven decision making and test-and-learn practices and methods 
  • Develop and test hypothesis partnering with Customer Research teams to generate objective evidence and leveraging data-driven decision tools and methods
  • Establish a prioritization model rooted in organization's market differentiation and strategic themes to prioritize feature, user stories and technology enablers, processes and policies based on customer needs, economic view and strategic implications
  • Understand customer/user needs to define clear feature requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize the program and team backlog based on assessment of customer and business value
  • Partner with cross-functional team members (across engineering, design, data science, etc.) through design, development and testing of concepts, product features leveraging integrated fast learning cycles 
  • Monitor and report product performance against established KPIs/OKRs
  • Build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners (Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, Engineering, etc.) and Leadership/Executive team to collaborate regularly ensuring continued alignment with vision, business needs and requirements 
Qualifications
  • 7-9+ years of relevant work in strategy or product roles
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization including Engineering, Marketing, Finance, UX, and Analytics
  • Experience using data and analytics tools and well-developed intuitions for leveraging data and analytics in generating objective and actionable evidence for fast and data-driven decision making
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • A track record of having effectively managed product roadmaps, writing clear and specific product requirement documents, collaborating with user-experience on product design and having worked in a cross-cultural, geographically distributed team
  • Knowledge and practical experience of lean-Agile transformation frameworks such as Scales Agile Framework (SAFe), Design Thinking tools including customer Journey Mapping and Service Design

 Compensation Range: USD $106,780.00 - USD $146,100.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
