Job Location

The primary work location for this role is the East Coast with a remote work model.

About Envestnet

Envestnet is an adaptive WealthTech company that is redefining the future of wealth management by helping advisors meet the moment with its comprehensive technology, actionable insights, and industry leading support. Backed byover 25 years of experience and approximately $7.0 trillion in platform assets, Envestnet is trusted by over one third of financial advisors across leading banks, wealth managers, brokerages, and RIAs.

For a deeper look at how Envestnet is shaping the future of financial advice, visit www.envestnet.com.

The Team You’ll Join

You’ll join a dynamic Product Strategy team at the center of Envestnet’s evolving product organization, working closely with product leaders, engineering, marketing, and executive leadership. This team serves as the strategic backbone that connects AI innovation, market intelligence, and product direction—shaping how the organization prioritizes investments, responds to industry shifts, and delivers differentiated value to clients. As a key member of this highly collaborative and forward-looking group, you’ll help influence enterprise-wide thinking, strengthen alignment across cross-functional teams, and elevate how product strategy is operationalized in a complex, matrixed environment.

How You’ll Contribute

This role sits within Product Strategy and serves as the connective tissue between AI strategy, market intelligence, and product direction. You'll stand up the frameworks that make the product organization more strategic, embedding AI prioritization and governance into PM teams, owning the competitive and ecosystem lens for leadership, and evolve into a sounding board as those capabilities mature across the organization. This is a role for someone who thinks rigorously, communicates crisply, and knows how to move from insight to influence in a complex organization.

  • Partner with product leaders to strengthen AI strategy across the portfolio — helping teams pressure-test prioritization, connect AI-enabled capabilities to strategic value and feasibility, and identify common foundational elements that can be shared across the product ecosystem
  • Support the AI governance processes definition from a product perspective, including intake processes, use case governance, and stakeholder communication
  • Partner with others in the organization to support GTM considerations (e.g., pricing and packaging) around AI capabilities
  • Shape how Envestnet articulates its AI strategy, aligning with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership on how AI capabilities connect to the broader product narrative, and what outcomes define success
  • Own the market intelligence tracking infrastructure, applying consistent evaluation criteria to surface the most strategically relevant developments across the wealth technology ecosystem
  • Monitor and synthesize the AI and broader wealth tech ecosystem to identify landscape shifts, capability trends, and potential partnership opportunities
  • Translate ecosystem signals into actionable strategic implications for the product organization and leadership
  • Prepare briefings, landscape summaries, and positioning analyses for CPO and senior leadership audiences
  • Represent product strategy at industry conferences and synthesize intelligence into internal deliverables
  • Support AI best practices, training, and tooling adoption across the product organization — helping teams build working knowledge of AI capabilities and how to apply them effectively
  • Support executive communication and strategy documentation for the Product Strategy function
  • Help build and maintain the operational infrastructure of the product strategy team — templates, frameworks, trackers, and processes

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, strategy consulting, or a combination — with demonstrated ownership of strategic work products
  • Genuine fluency in AI for product capabilities: you understand how LLMs, agents, and AI workflows actually work, can evaluate vendor claims critically, and can frame AI opportunities in terms of business and product value
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills — you can synthesize ambiguous inputs into clear frameworks and recommendations
  • Hands-on fluency with modern AI tooling (e.g., Claude/Copilot), including prompt/workflow design, agentic workflow creation, and rapid iteration; comfortable using AI tooling across the product lifecycle including prototyping tools to turn concepts into testable experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to VP and C-suite audiences
  • Experience working across product, engineering, and business stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and learning velocity — you stay current on AI capabilities and industry shifts, and proactively deepen your understanding to sharpen product decisions
  • Consensus builder with a bias for action — you propose paths forward, align stakeholders, and help land clear decisions

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in wealth management, fintech, or enterprise SaaS
  • Experience with competitive intelligence methodologies or partnership evaluation
  • Prior work in an AI-adjacent role (AI product, AI strategy, data products)
