Dallas, TX

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO

Posted 10 days ago

Job description

About MyUtilities

MyUtilities make moving easier by helping consumers establish essential home services, including electricity, internet, security, insurance, gas, and water.

Behind that customer experience is an enterprise technology platform integrated into mortgage and real estate workflows. Our products include a proprietary CRM, a data insights layer, partner APIs, and AI agents that automate lead-to-close processes. We are expanding the platform and looking for a product leader who can turn customer needs into scalable products and measurable commercial results.

The Opportunity

Exemplify our Core Values: Grit, Integrity, Excellence in Everything, and are Others-Focused.

As Director of Product Strategy, you will own the strategy and commercial performance of our core product portfolio: the CRM platform, data products, integrations, and AI agents.

This is a hands-on, subject matter expert role for someone who is equally comfortable setting product direction, working directly with customers, partnering closely with engineering, and helping Sales and Customer Success bring products to market. You will translate the needs of mortgage, real estate, and home-services partners into a focused roadmap that improves adoption, retention, revenue, and operational efficiency.

What you'll own

  • Set the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap across the CRM, data, integrations, and AI-agent portfolio.
  • Conduct customer discovery with mortgage, real estate, and home-services partners to identify high-value workflow problems.
  • Prioritize investments using clear customer and commercial outcomes, including adoption, retention, revenue expansion, conversion, and automation.
  • Partner with Engineering from discovery through launch, defining requirements, success measures, release plans, and quality expectations.
  • Lead the development of partner-facing APIs and integrations that are reliable, scalable, and easy to adopt.
  • Own product commercialization, including packaging and pricing input, pilots, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and adoption programs.
  • Establish a disciplined product analytics practice using cohort analysis, controlled rollouts, experiments, and customer feedback.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and external partners to increase product adoption and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Represent MyUtilities in strategic customer conversations, partner presentations, and selected industry events.
  • Ensure product decisions account for relevant security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

What you bring

  • Significant product management experience building and scaling B2B SaaS, workflow, CRM, data, API, or platform products.
  • A track record of owning product strategy while remaining close to delivery and execution.
  • Experience translating complex customer workflows into simple, commercially successful products.
  • Strong partnership with engineering teams, including the ability to make clear trade-offs across scope, quality, speed, and technical investment.
  • Experience launching and commercializing products in partnership with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Fluency with product analytics and the ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes.
  • Strong executive, customer, and partner communication skills.
  • The judgment and resilience to operate effectively in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred experience

  • Mortgage, real estate, fintech, proptech, or home-services technology.
  • CRM platforms, workflow automation, partner APIs, or data products.
  • Applied AI products or AI agents used in production workflows.

How success will be measured

During your first year, success will include:

  • A clear product strategy and roadmap aligned with company growth priorities.
  • Increased adoption of new CRM, integration, and AI capabilities.
  • Measurable improvement in conversion, lead-to-close time, automation, retention, or revenue.
  • Reliable API performance and faster, more predictable partner integrations.
  • Stronger product-launch coordination across Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Improved customer satisfaction and clearer evidence that roadmap decisions reflect customer needs.

Benefits

Why MyUtilities

  • Broad ownership of a product portfolio with direct customer and revenue impact.
  • The opportunity to shape products at the intersection of mortgage, real estate, home services, and applied AI.
  • A collaborative culture grounded in grit, integrity, excellence, and an others-focused mindset.
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.

MyUtilities is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
