Sales Representative
Location: Home-based office (Wisconsin)
Field-Based/Territory: Madison, Milwaukee, Appleton, Green Bay (surrounding markets in Wisconsin), with occasional coverage into the Rockford and Joliet, Illinois areas.
A well-established Midwest provider of mobile storage containers, portable offices, and customized container-based solutions is seeking a Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory in Wisconsin. Typical customers include general contractors, subcontractors, industrial facilities, municipalities, utilities, and commercial organizations that need temporary storage, portable office space, and customized container solutions to support their operations.
This role combines relationship-driven account management with outside sales and new business development, helping customers find practical storage and workspace solutions that keep projects moving efficiently. Success in this role requires the ability to maintain existing relationships while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities throughout the territory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow sales revenue and established customer base throughout Wisconsin
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and follow up opportunities with contractors, municipalities, industrial companies, and commercial organizations
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend solutions
  • Prepare quotes, coordinate order details, and support customers throughout the sales process
  • Build long-term relationships, market visibility, and become a trusted resource within the territory

What We're Looking For
  • Comfortable building relationships with contractors, project managers, superintendents, operations leaders, facility managers, and other decision-makers in the field
  • Experience selling into construction, industrial, manufacturing, municipal, utility, transportation, or contractor markets is highly preferred
  • Candidates with backgrounds in equipment rental, construction services, building materials, industrial distribution, safety/PPE sales, construction operations, or other contractor-focused industries will be especially successful in this role
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from a home office
  • Organized and able to manage a multi-city territory effectively
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic sales technology tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Travel Requirements
  • Regular travel throughout Wisconsin is expected
  • Overnight travel will be required
  • Approximately 50-60% travel within the territory
