About the Role

The SEO Manager will report to the Director of Ecommerce and will be responsible for driving organic visibility and revenue growth across Pressed Juiceryโ€™s digital ecosystem. This role blends listing optimization, content strategy, technical SEO, and AI search optimization (AEO). Success will be measured not only by traffic growth but also by revenue attribution, keyword rankings, and inclusion in AI answers.

This is a temporary role supporting a planned parental leave, running approximately July 2026 through January 2027.

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Digitalย Shelfย &ย Retail.comย Optimizationย (Primaryย Focus)

  • Own and optimize Pressed Juicery's product listings across Retail.com partner pages (Target, Costco, Instacart, Amazon) to maximize visibility, conversion, and content completeness.
  • Audit and maintain product titles, descriptions, images, and enhanced content across all retailer.com digital shelf placements to ensure brand consistency and search relevance.
  • Monitor and report on share-of-shelf, search rank, and content compliance across wholesale retail partners, identifying and resolving gaps proactively.
  • Collaborateย withย theย Wholesaleย teamsย toย alignย digitalย shelfย contentย withย newย productย launches,ย andย priorities.

AI/Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) & Content Strategy

  • Execute ongoing content roadmap focused on high-value topics (e.g., juice cleanses, gut health, immunity).
  • Optimizeย blogย andย contentย hubsย withย structuredย data,ย schemaย markup,ย andย FAQsย toย increaseย AI/voiceย searchย visibility.
  • Partner with the Content Marketing Manager to align storytelling and keyword strategy.

On-Site & Technical SEO

  • Lead ongoing optimization of product and category pages focused on high-intent search terms while collaborating with performance marketing team on paid search term performance.
  • Manage site audits, technical fixes, and crawl optimizations to ensure strong indexation and site speed.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Lead to refine site structure and navigation for SEO performance.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Share SEO dashboards and performance reports to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Track keyword trends, competitive landscape, and inclusion in AI-generated search results.
  • Translateย SEOย performanceย intoย clearย businessย outcomesย tiedย toย trafficย andย revenueย growth.

Local SEO

  • Optimize and maintain Google Business Profiles and store location pages oor โ€œnear meโ€ and local intent searches.
  • Partner with Retail Operations to ensure accuracy across Apple Maps, Yel,, and other directories

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of SEO experience, with proven success in marketplace SEO, opiimization, and technical SEO.
  • 3+ years in eCommerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments (Shopify, Amazon, Target).
  • Hands-on expertise with leading SEO and analytics tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, GA4); experience with AEO or local SEO platforms a plus.
  • Shopifyย ecommerceย platformย experienceย isย aย must.
  • Retail.com content management platforms (Syndigo, ChanelAdvisor, Rithum, Rivir) experience a plus.

The expected salary range for this position is $45.00-50.00 per hour. This range reflects the base salary for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
