Your Role
The Performance Marketing Lead, Paid Search is a versatile, hands-on operator who partners across our growth org to drive efficient customer acquisition. They work cross-functionally across performance marketing channels and the broader marketing team to execute campaigns, support strategic initiatives, and help scale what's working primarily for SEM but also assist with paid social to SMS/Email. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, brings strong opinions backed by data, and is energized by working across multiple channels rather than being siloed in one.
We are looking for someone who is hyper-analytical and data-obsessed, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate can assist in day to day management and execution as well as help own the performance & strategy of SEM while working with multiple stakeholders.
The Performance Marketing Lead, Paid Search reports to the Director of Growth and will work cross-functionally within the organization to further expand performance marketing efforts, strategy, and optimization.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Help drive the development of Google paid search strategies to achieve marketing objectives, including lead generation, sales, and brand visibility.
  • Own execution of campaign setup and optimization.
  • Share performance analysis to drive continuous improvements and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct keyword research, suggest ad copy testing, and work with the e-commerce team on landing page optimization to maximize campaign performance.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data, generate insights, and create regular reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Implement testing and conversion rate optimization initiatives with ecommerce team to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Help identify opportunities for expanding campaign reach and growth through innovative tactics and audience targeting.
  • Ensure compliance with advertising policies and guidelines set by Google and other advertising platforms.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience:
    • Experience in a Direct Response CPG Brand whose majority of revenue comes from eCommerce
    • 3-5+ years required experience in a Performance Marketing, managing a high volume of campaigns and/or channels
    • Data-driven with strong Excel, analytical skills, and proficiency with Google Analytics required
    • Strong, clear, timely communicator who tailors the message and cadence to the audience
    • Budgetary experience including proven optimization for strong CPA/CAC goals required
    • Familiarity with keyword research & web analytics tools
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make data-driven decisions
    • Ability to support product launches & collaborate on launch strategy with multiple stakeholders
  • Interpersonal:
    • Strong leadership & communication skills: listen, mentor, and teach by example
    • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Adaptable to learning new social platforms and advertising technologies

  • Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
    • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
    • Experience navigating healthcare or restricted advertising spaces is a plus
    • Experience with Claude and performance report automation/dashboard creation is a plus

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Hours and Compensation
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $110,000 - $130,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
