We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed and beverage enhancers.
Position Summary
The Payroll Specialist supports accurate and timely payroll processing for our employee population, working within established systems and procedures. This role is a key contributor to payroll operations and works closely with HR and Finance to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using UKG
โ€ข Review and validate timecard data, flagging discrepancies for supervisor review
โ€ข Calculate standard deductions, garnishments, and benefits withholdings
โ€ข Assist with payroll tax filings and remittances under the direction of HR & Finance
โ€ข Support W-2 preparation and year-end payroll activities
โ€ข Process routine payroll changes including new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments
โ€ข Respond to employee payroll inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed
โ€ข Maintain payroll records in accordance with retention requirements
โ€ข Assist with payroll audits by pulling reports and organizing documentation
โ€ข Identify and flag process discrepancies to management
Required Qualifications
โ€ข Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
โ€ข 5+ years of payroll processing experience
โ€ข Familiarity with multi-state payrolls; CA & IL processing experience strongly desired
โ€ข Experience with hourly workforce payroll required
โ€ข Working knowledge of a payroll system (UKG experience a plus)
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
