Part-Time Payroll Specialist (Bilingual – English/Japanese)

Location: Houston, TX (In-office initially; remote transition after onboarding)

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday–Friday)

Position Overview

Client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations on a part-time basis. This role will begin in-office in Houston for training and onboarding (approximately 1–2 months), then transition to a remote work arrangement. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Japanese and has experience managing payroll processes accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process employee payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, and tax information
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
