THE ROLE
Reporting to the Payroll Director within Shared Services, the Payroll Assistant helps support daily payroll operations and ensures employees receive timely assistance. This role interacts with employees across the organization and requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Monitor and respond to payroll-related phone calls and emails.
  • Direct inquiries to the appropriate team members when needed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail daily.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of payroll information.
  • Provide administrative support to the payroll team.
  • Assist employees by answering questions and resolving basic payroll-related concerns.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
