Job Title: Collections Agent

Location: Remote

+ About the job:

This position focuses on telephone-based collections for auto insurance claims. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, understands collection laws, and can handle high call volumes while maintaining positive client relationships.

+ We’re looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience in insurance collections or related fields (telemarketing, sales, or customer

service)

• Is fluent in English (bilingual is a plus)

• Can work independently with minimal supervision

• Manages time effectively and maintains strong organizational habits

• Can handle conflict and difficult conversations professionally

• Is available for occasional night and weekend work

• Has excellent verbal communication and people skills

+ What you’ll do:

• Make outbound calls to recover funds on auto insurance claims

• Negotiate payment resolutions with claimants and third parties

• Document and prioritize recovery efforts

• Investigate problem claims and recommend next steps

• Coordinate with other recovery departments and handle arbitration when needed

• Review claimants’ financial situations to determine ability to pay

• Follow up on coverage, billing, and correspondence

• Ensure compliance with collection laws and internal timelines
