Job description

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our BTB team at Southwest Elementary as a part-time secretary. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, assist with daily operations, and ensure effective communication within the BTB program. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for students, staff, and parents.
Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in the preparation of school correspondence, newsletters, and announcements.
  • Support the planning and coordination of school events and activities.
  • Process and manage student enrollment and attendance records.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by BTB Directors.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
