Parts Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Order, receive, stock, and process parts
  • Supply technicians with automotive parts
  • Assist with inventory management and logistics
  • Create bin locations for new stock
  • Ensure parts and accessory supply is stocked on shelves in the proper location
  • Notify customer on parts arrival
  • Notify of shortage & damage discrepancies
  • Prepare items for returns and shipping
  • Deliver parts
  • Light forklift duties
  • Process warranty scrap
  • Keep workspace neat and orderly
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
  • Twisting, turning, bending, lifting involved
