We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians in selecting and ordering automotive parts and accessories. This role requires strong customer service skills, technical knowledge of automotive parts, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of parts orders.


Job Duties:

  • Assist customers and service technicians with parts inquiries, orders, and sales.
  • Provide accurate and timely information about parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
  • Process parts orders and ensure they are correctly filled and delivered on time.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient parts department, including stocking and inventory management.
  • Utilize dealership management software to track parts orders, inventory levels, and customer interactions.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns regarding parts, providing solutions and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to identify and order the correct parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist with parts returns, warranty claims, and exchanges as needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with automotive parts and accessory trends, manufacturer updates, and new products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department and work area.
  • Support parts department operations with administrative tasks, such as filing and record-keeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager/Fixed Operations Manager.

Successful Candidates Possess:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in automotive parts or related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts advisor or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in using dealership management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
