Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to join our team. The Banquet Supervisor will be responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen eye for detail.
Onsite at Macomb Community College. 
  1. Event Setup: Arrange tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and other event equipment according to the event plan.
  2. Service: Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Clean-Up: Clear tables, remove dishes, and ensure the banquet area is clean and orderly during and after events.
  4. Coordination: Work closely with the kitchen and event coordinators to ensure timely and efficient service.
  5. Customer Interaction: Address guest needs and requests promptly and courteously.
  6. Safety and Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

  1. Previous experience in a banquet or hospitality setting is preferred.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  4. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  6. Must be able to pass DOT physical requirements
