As a part-time medical sales representative, your job is to help sell pharmaceutical products on behalf of your company. In this role, you may memorize information about a pharmaceutical chemical or device, study the unique situation and needs of each client, and otherwise represent your employer throughout your designated territory or region. Some medical sales representatives work from an office, while others travel to clients to give presentations and help sell products. You may sometimes accompany doctors and surgeons to provide immediate, expert advice about specific products while the medical professionals perform intensive procedures. This job may require the ability to remain professional and recall information while exposed to significant amounts of blood or damaged body parts.
