They are often recent graduates or professionals transitioning from other fields. These representatives learn about medical products, devices, or pharmaceuticals and promote them to healthcare professionals. Employers typically provide training and mentorship to help new hires build product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry understanding. Familiarity with CRM software, sales tracking tools, and basic medical terminology is typically expected, though on-the-job training is common. Exceptional communication, resilience, and relationship-building skills help you connect with healthcare professionals and adapt in a competitive environment. These abilities are crucial for meeting sales targets, building trust with clients, and succeeding in the medical sales industry.

What are some common challenges faced by entry-level medical sales representatives with no prior experience, and how can they overcome them?
