Job description

North Coast Media, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support cash application, collections, and customer account management. This part-time role (20โ€“25 hours per week) is ideal for someone experienced in accounts receivable and B2B collections who enjoys working with both numbers and customers to keep accounts current.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Management

  • Apply incoming payments and ensure timely posting and deposit of receipts
  • Process credit card payments as needed
  • Assist with monthly cash and bank reconciliations

Accounts Receivable & Collections

  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on past-due balances
  • Review aging reports and conduct collection outreach via phone and email
  • Resolve billing issues while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Partner with sales teams to address account concerns and payment delays
  • Prepare aging, credit hold, and bad debt reports for management review
  • Coordinate accounts referred to third-party collection agencies
  • Review and approve new credit applications

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounts receivable or collections experience
