Part-Time Administrative/Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist


Location: Denver, CO (Onsite)

Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week (consistent schedule; flexible on days and hours)


About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist to support their accounting team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in ensuring invoices and billing processes are completed accurately and efficiently.


The schedule offers flexibility while maintaining consistent weekly hours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, review, and submit invoices for multiple producers accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage invoice discrepancies by researching, communicating, and resolving billing issues.
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including cost center coding, invoice approvals, and Open Ticket entries.
  • Reconcile trucked tickets and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting, invoicing, and administrative projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing accuracy and workflow efficiency.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, or accounting support.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.


Preferred

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, energy, construction, or professional services.
  • Familiarity with ticket reconciliation and invoice dispute resolution.


Compensation


Candidate Pay

$25.00-$30.00/hour depending on experience. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be open through September 30th, 2026.
