POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides emergency medical care, both on-scene and during transport, to patients in the hospital's service area. These roles often involve direct patient care, utilizing basic life support (BLS) or advanced life support (ALS) skills, and working closely with hospital staff. The specific responsibilities can range from responding to 911 calls to assisting with patient transfers and providing specialized care within the hospital setting. BCH POLICY STATEMENT:
