COMPANY: Express Employment Professionals – St. Louis City
LOCATION: St. Louis City, MO
JOB TYPE: Full-Time | On-Site | Field Sales
PAY: $45,000 – $50,000 base salary plus uncapped commission
INDUSTRY: Staffing & Recruiting | B2B Sales | Business Development | Workforce Solutions

About This Outside Sales Role in St. Louis

We're a St. Louis staffing firm that's been around for over 30 years. We're looking for one person to join our team as an outside sales rep. Not a temp, not a client placement. You'd be working for us, hunting new business across the city.

Your territory is the City of St. Louis (not the county). You'll be in your car every day, driving routes, walking into businesses, and meeting people face to face. If you'd rather sit at a desk managing existing accounts and sending emails, this isn't it.

This is a new business role. You're building from zero. No warm leads handed to you, no existing book to coast on. You find the prospects, you get in the door, you close the deal. That's the job.

No sales background required. We'll train you. What we can't give you is the drive to pick up the phone or walk in cold to an office. That part has to be yours.

Compensation
  • $45K to $50K base salary
  • Uncapped commissions, top performers clear $65K+
  • Annual Caribbean trip incentive
What the Job Looks Like Day to Day
  • 100 face to face calls per week across your St. Louis City territory
  • 10 to 15 appointments set and held each week
  • 70 decision maker conversations per week
  • 1 to 2 new accounts closed per week by day 90
What We're Looking For
  • Hungry, organized, and good with people
  • Better in person than on paper
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and comfortable driving the city daily
  • Able to manage your own schedule without hand-holding
Benefits
  • Health insurance, PTO, 401(k)
  • Full sales training and ongoing coaching
  • A team that actually wants you to succeed

If that sounds like you, apply. We move quickly when someone stands out.
