Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll grow and manage your territory by building strong relationships with automotive dealerships, collision centers, and repair facilities.

You'll combine face-to-face business development with data, technology, and operational insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and help customers improve performance and profitability.

This is a hands-on, consultative role for someone who is equally comfortable building relationships in the field, analyzing business performance, using technology and AI tools, and turning insights into action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with auto dealerships and auto repair shops by delivering exceptional service and on-going support face-to-face.
  • Develop a deep understanding of dealership and shop operations related to buying and selling auto parts, identify their key challenges, and create solutions to facilitate smoother business interactions between them.
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Drive market growth through cold calling, networking, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospects.
  • Use CRM systems, reporting platforms, data, analytics, and AI tools to identify opportunities, track performance, and support business decisions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, track market performance, and provide regular updates and reporting.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or a similar customer-facing role with a track record of driving growth and closing business.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to manage your territory like your own business and take ownership of results.
