Position Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you'll serve as a trusted workforce consultant for businesses throughout the Mineral Wells, Waxahachie, and Cleburne markets. You'll develop new client relationships, strengthen existing partnerships, and provide customized staffing and workforce solutions that help businesses achieve their goals.
This role combines business development, account management, and relationship building in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Essential Job Functions

Business Development
  • Prospect and develop new business through networking, referrals, cold calling, community involvement, and relationship building
  • Conduct client meetings to assess workforce needs and recommend customized staffing and recruiting solutions
  • Generate new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships
Account Management
  • Build long-term partnerships with clients by providing exceptional service and proactive communication
  • Conduct regular client visits to ensure satisfaction and identify additional workforce needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing workforce insights, recruiting strategies, and staffing solutions
Recruiting Partnership
  • Collaborate with Staffing Coordinators to ensure qualified candidates are matched with client needs
  • Maintain communication throughout the recruiting and placement process to deliver an outstanding client experience
  • Support successful employee placements and ongoing client satisfaction
Territory Management
  • Manage and grow an assigned sales territory while developing strategic plans to increase market share
  • Represent Personnel Services at networking events, industry meetings, and community organizations
  • Stay informed on local labor market trends, hiring challenges, and competitive activity
Performance & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity within the CRM
  • Track sales goals, pipeline activity, and business development metrics
  • Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding monthly sales objectives
Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of outside B2B sales, business development, account management, or relationship management experience
  • Staffing, recruiting, HR, payroll, or workforce solutions experience preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
