M&A Advisor - Business Broker (Full Commission, $100K-$500K+)

Dealonomy

San Antonio, TX • Remote

$100K - $500K/yr

Full-time

Posted 15 days ago

Job description

Close deals that change lives. Keep what you earn.

Dealonomy is a technology-driven M&A firm helping owners sell businesses in the $1M to $50M revenue range and helping buyers acquire them without the usual friction. Our proprietary platform handles valuations, deal rooms, NDAs, LOIs, due diligence, and e-signing in one place. We're not a traditional brokerage. We're building the best deal-making machine in the industry, and we only get paid when deals close. So do you, and that's the point.

The Opportunity

You're the relationship anchor on every deal you run: the advisor sellers trust, the professional buyers respect, the closer who gets it done. A dedicated Deal Manager and Deal Closer handle the operational heavy lifting so you can focus on relationships, negotiation, and closing.

This is a full commission W-2 role with no earnings cap. Advisors closing 10 deals a year at average deal size earn $100K to $155K in year one. Advisors closing 15 to 20+ deals, or larger deals, earn $200K to $500K+. Commissions paid monthly, plus a sourcing bonus for deals you bring in yourself.

What You'll Do

  • Run discovery calls with owners, qualify fit, and close engagements with platform-built valuations and proposals
  • Conduct recorded seller interviews buyers use to evaluate the business
  • Be the seller's steady point of contact from engagement through closing
  • Guide pre-qualified, NDA-signed buyers through LOI, negotiation, and accepted offer
  • Advise on valuation, positioning, and timing using our proprietary Dealonomy Multiplier Score
  • Align strategy with what each seller values most: price, speed, legacy, or team
  • Manage your pipeline in our CRM and close consistently. Minimum expectation: 10 deals per year

What You Won't Do

  • Chase documents. The platform automates requests and reminders
  • Build deal rooms or valuations. The system generates them
  • Manage due diligence logistics. Your Deal Closer runs lenders, attorneys, and paperwork
  • Hunt for listings or buyer leads. Your Deal Manager owns that

Who You Are

  • Comfortable on camera and phone. Most of your day is Zoom calls with owners and buyers
  • Fluent in financial statements: P&Ls, tax returns, SDE and EBITDA recasting
  • Fast-moving, responsive, and relentless with follow-up
  • A team player who runs deals with a Deal Manager and Deal Closer

Strong-fit backgrounds: business broker, M&A advisor or attorney in the SMB space, former owner who has bought or sold a company, ETA or search fund experience, CPA or PE analyst moving into advisory, MBA with finance emphasis, or M&A paralegal. Prior advisory experience isn't required if your background gives you the core skills and you're ready to fully adopt our system.

How We Work

Remote-first. Video-based seller calls, buyer calls, and team check-ins. Full training on our platform and process, with direct coaching from our Director of M&A on your first deals.

To Apply

Include a short video (2 to 5 minutes) introducing yourself and telling us why you're a fit. We're evaluating how you communicate, not production value. Applications without a video will not be reviewed.

Company Description

Dealonomy exists to engineer dream lives through business ownership and exits. We're a venture-backed M&A platform that makes buying and selling businesses in the $1M to $50M revenue range faster, smoother, and more certain. Our proprietary technology and expert deal team handle everything from valuation to funded close, connecting owners with serious, vetted buyers. And our model keeps us honest: we only get paid when deals close. Backed by a $3M seed round and built by experienced brokers and operators, we're a small team moving fast in a massive market.
