About the Position

About the Team

The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines.
As a member of the Logistics Team, the Order Management Associate is responsible for processing customer orders and inquiries while maintaining accurate documentation, on-time delivery communication, and strong customer relationships. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy and customer satisfaction through effective coordination and system use.

What you can look forward to as Order Management Associate:

  • Processing phone and written customer orders and inquiries, including ship date requests
  • Communicating with customers via phone in a professional and positive manner
  • Reviewing EDI orders and updating customer acknowledgments via phone, fax, or website
  • Reviewing order changes, delivery availability, and schedule impacts directly with customers
  • Documenting customer requirements accurately within the MRP/ERP system
  • Verifying order accuracy by matching customer purchase orders with ZF acknowledgments
  • Creating delivery notes once orders are complete
  • Maintaining hardcopy open order files and indexing documents into the company imaging system
  • Coordinating order discrepancies with Customer Service Representatives and internal stakeholders
  • Building rapport with coworkers and collaborating across departments
  • Working independently while remaining effective in a team-based environment
  • Identifying and recommending product or process improvements that support business goals
  • Adhering to all safety rules and company policies

Your Profile as Order Management Associate:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 + years order management experience
  • Experience with basic record keeping or order entry activities, or equivalent training
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly and professionally
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
  • Demonstrated keyboarding and typing proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to calculate basic figures such as discounts and collect factual data
  • Selfmotivated, personable, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily seated work with occasional standing and walking
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly, up to 25 lbs. occasionally (assistance required for heavier items)

The expected base compensation for this role is $51,800 - $65,000 annually.  Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
