What you'll do

The Order Manager oversees and coordinates the end-to-end order fulfillment process in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures timely, accurate processing of customer orders from receipt through production scheduling, shipment, and invoicing, while maintaining strong cross-functional communication with production, logistics, and customer service teams.

Where you'll work

This role will be based in our Houston offices. You must be willing to work in the office full-time, outside of our bi-weekly WFH Fridays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire order lifecycle: receive, review, enter, and track customer orders in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with production planning to ensure orders are scheduled and manufactured on time.
  • Liaise with logistics and shipping teams to arrange timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, changes, or issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels to confirm availability of finished goods.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, delays, or quality issues with internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in all relevant systems.
  • Support sales and customer service teams with order-related queries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and any applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in order management, sales operations, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, HubSpot, Monday.com, Shipwell) and order processing workflows.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
