Typical duties of an Order Coordinator may include:
  • Reviews orders for accuracy and completion
  • Enters all sales orders from customer PO's, RFQ's and Application Engineers into our ERP system
  • Places orders with vendors to purchase customer orders
  • Computes prices, shipping costs, and any appropriate discounts
  • Handle inbound calls from customers, vendors, and sales personnel
  • Provides sales quotes to customers from vendor-provided resources
  • Determines the appropriate timing of orders to ensure timely delivery and cost savings
  • Verifies and updates customer information
  • Checks customer accounts for credit and outstanding payments
  • Informs customers and/or sales team of shipping date and any possible delays
  • Electronically files copies of all orders received
  • Adheres to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner
  • Customer Service is KEY; you will have contact with customers on a daily basis

Qualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Must be detailed oriented and accurate
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Gmail
  • Must be a high-paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers
  • Must be able to multi-task such as simultaneously using telephone and computer skills
  • Must have a general knowledge of basic mathematical computations
  • Must have the ability to sit for extended periods
  • Experience using Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP software programs preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM preferred
