Job description

Summary:


The Repair Order Coordinator role is responsible for the coordination of all materials repair, stock, and sales distribution management requirements, while principally focused on WASI operation. Additionally, the Repair Order Coordinator will support the sales function and act in an account management perspective for all outlets to facilitate and promote material sales.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle repair management activities associated with WASI owned and consigned material.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to make timely vendor selection and aid in the quote and sales process.
  • Raise repair orders within the Quantum system, with correct work scope and other instructions.
  • Evaluate vendor quotes for repair, compare them to vendorโ€™s quoted or catalog price, and be prepared to challenge and resolve discrepancies in labor rates and materials costs
  • Ensure that all aspects of the repair management process, including work scope, quotation details, certification details are recorded accurately within Quantum
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of repair standards and airworthiness notices.
  • Responsible and accountable for effective management of Turn around Times and for the provision of timely and accurate delivery of piece part repairs.
  • Responsible and accountable for scrap material management at repair vendors and WASI and WERC warehouse locations as per technical, commercial, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team in the US & UK to ensure logistics and customs requirements are appropriately managed.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Associateโ€™s Degree preferred
  • Technical, financial, and commercial knowledge of repairs across common commercial engine types
  • Self-motivated with strong project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality in performing duties.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions with multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced in the use of Component Control - Quantum
