Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Jewelry Merchandiser Coordinator to join our team. This role will support the product development department in planning, organizing, and executing product assortment strategies, ensuring that our jewelry collections are visually appealing, competitively priced, and aligned with brand and customer standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for the jewelry industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work alongside Account Managers to prepare for customer meetings:
    • Physical collection and merchandising of product
    • Prepare and consolidate product information into spreadsheets and presentation
    • Support customer meetings and post meeting follow-up activities as needed.
  • Provide jewelry category merchandising support including but not limited to physical merchandising, electronic organization support, sample request support, and internal system updates.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders including Sales and Product Development teams as necessary to complete assigned activities and communicate necessary information in a timely/proactive fashion.
  • Assist with product presentations to ensure completeness and return product upon project completion.
  • Assist sample room in merchandising and product related activities
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Research on trends and customers' product assortment, and then recommendations to sales & PD team.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Ability to communicate (orally and written) in a professional manner when dealing with internal and external company contacts.
  • Attention to details – ensuring precision in data entry.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for jewelry and interests in trends and products in both retail and digital market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, product development or a similar role (jewelry industry preferred).
  • Understanding of fine jewelry materials, gemstones and production processes a plus.
