Job description

Franchise Coordinator

Tipsy Bikes - Fredericksburg | The Premier Companies, Inc.

Location: Fredericksburg, VA / Remote

Job Type: Part-Time | Project-Based

Start Date: Fall 2026

About Tipsy Bikes

Tipsy Bikes is a new social nightlife and entertainment brand preparing to launch in Fredericksburg, Virginia in March 2027.

Tipsy is designed to be more than a traditional party bike. We are building a modern social-experience brand centered around bringing people together, creating memorable experiences, and connecting visitors and residents with the businesses and culture of the communities we serve.

Fredericksburg will serve as our initial market, with plans to develop Tipsy into a scalable multi-market franchise concept.

We're now building the team that will help turn that vision into reality.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized, motivated, and entrepreneurial Franchise Coordinator to join our Franchise Development Team.

This is an opportunity to work directly with Premier's Executive Leadership Team and gain hands-on experience helping build a new business from the ground up.

The Franchise Coordinator will help coordinate the many moving pieces involved in preparing Tipsy for its March 2027 launch, including franchise development, local partnerships, marketing, operations, government coordination, vendor management, and launch planning.

This is a great opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, or early-career professional who wants experience that goes beyond a traditional internship.

You'll be helping build the playbookโ€”not just following one.

What You'll DoProject & Franchise Development

  • Maintain Tipsy's franchise development roadmap and project tracker.
  • Track deadlines, deliverables, responsibilities, and project status.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help keep major development initiatives moving forward.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and bring them to leadership's attention.
  • Prepare project updates and meeting notes.

Business & Community Partnerships

  • Research potential restaurant, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, and community partners.
  • Assist with outreach and relationship development.
  • Schedule meetings and track partnership opportunities.
  • Help coordinate Tipsy's inaugural network of local business partners.

City & Launch Coordination

  • Assist with coordinating development efforts involving the City of Fredericksburg and other stakeholders.
  • Help organize meetings, documentation, and follow-up items.
  • Assist with preliminary route, safety, and operational planning.
  • Track permitting, licensing, and other development requirements.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Support Tipsy's pre-launch marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with social media and local promotional initiatives.
  • Research target audiences and marketing opportunities.
  • Help coordinate ambassadors, influencers, and community outreach.
  • Assist with building excitement around Tipsy's arrival in Fredericksburg.

Operations & Launch Preparation

  • Help coordinate bike delivery, branding, vendors, equipment, and operational readiness.
  • Assist with developing checklists, procedures, and launch materials.
  • Support staffing, training, and customer-experience preparation.
  • Help maintain the overall March 2027 launch plan.

Future Franchise Development

As Tipsy grows, you'll have the opportunity to help turn what we learn in Fredericksburg into repeatable systems that will eventually be used to launch Tipsy in additional markets.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive and comfortable taking initiative.
  • A strong communicator.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Resourceful and willing to figure things out.
  • Excited about entrepreneurship and new ventures.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong with follow-through.
  • Professional when communicating with businesses and community stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools.

Preferred Background

We especially welcome candidates studying or recently graduating in:

  • Business
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Marketing
  • Hospitality
  • Tourism
  • Event Management
  • Communications
  • Operations
  • Project Management

Experience with student organizations, Greek organizations, event planning, internships, sales, customer service, marketing, or entrepreneurial projects is a plus.

You do not need prior franchise experience.

We're more interested in your initiative, organization, communication skills, and ability to learn quickly.

What Success Looks Like

The right person will become someone the Tipsy leadership team can rely on to keep projects moving.

You don't need to know every answer.

You need to know how to find the answer.

You don't need to make every decision.

You need to recognize when a decision needs to be escalated.

And when something isn't going according to plan, we want you thinking:

"Okay. What's the next step?"

Success in this role means:

  • Projects stay organized.
  • Deadlines don't get lost.
  • Follow-ups happen.
  • Partners receive timely communication.
  • Roadblocks are identified early.
  • Deliverables get completed.
  • Leadership knows what's happening.
  • The launch continues moving forward.

And if Tipsy grows the way we believe it can, you'll have the opportunity to grow with it.
